New unit, classroom supplies and gift ideas.

We have started our light unit! Hopefully, you heard about the exploration yesterday and will keep hearing about our investigations. Over the break, if you are lucky enough to see snow, you can ask your children to notice how light reflects differently on different surfaces and connect to what we were discussing in school. This may become of an analysis of different snow textures, ice, etc. Have fun with it!

Also, now is a great time to restock school supplies. Pencils, erasers, etc. make great stocking stuffers.

Also, please check your children's binders and folders. Many are well-used and may need some tape and TLC or replacement.
